The fastest, cleanest way into the picture-postcard Mozambique. Direct flights from Joburg or via Maputo. We meet you in Vilankulos and put you on a speedboat or seaplane to one of the islands. Lodges from rustic to among Africa's premium. Days are diving, kitesurfing, dhow sailing, climbing the great Bazaruto dune for the sunset.

Day 1 · Vilankulos arrival
Flight in. Boat or seaplane to the lodge. Settle, swim, watch first sunset.

Day 2–4 · The islands
Diving, snorkelling, dhow sailing, dune climbs. Quietly excellent food.

Day 5–6 · Optional extension
Add a few days in Maputo as bookend, or pair with Tofo on the way down.
